Introducing 'Terror' a 1/5 scale model of a gaff
topsail cutter in the style of the Victorian period. terror
was named by the designer, Paul Garside,after one of Sir john
Franklin's ships that was lost in his third attempt to find the North West passage about 166
She is planked with Huon Pine over celery Top
framing,has Queensland White Beech decks with Brazilian
Mahogany Cover Board and Huon Pine fit out.All of the spar are
recycled Oregon from the Broulee Surf Club.
The only purchased items are the turnbuckles and the dead eyes
on deck for the head-sails leads

She stands 2070 high and is 1510 long.
